Diane and Jake met during the first week at Warwick through the fencing club, and they reconnected six years later in Cambridge. Then they decided to buy a house together and were married in July 2002.

Both far from home in Pakistan, they found friendship, love, and a second home in the heart of Warwick campus.

Shira studied in the Master of Arts in International Performance Research program and is now publishing her poetry collection.
