Calling all young Gamers age 9-14 - ready to create your own video games? Join our 4-Day Game Design Summer Course, in partnership with Blunt & Brave Digital Academy, designed for young creators eager to learn the basics of platform game design!

🎨 No Experience Needed – Perfect for Beginners!
📅 4 Days of Creating & Playing
🎯 Learn Character Design, Level Building, and Storytelling
💥 Final Session: Game Jam Showcase!

Show off your completed game, invite your family along, and celebrate your creativity in a fun, supportive showcase event!

Participants who participate in all 4 sessions and complete the required materials will also obtain an ‘Explore Level’ Arts Award.

We have a selection of family friendly games and our staff will support with different recommendations depending on how you'd like to play.

    • Snacks:
      Feel free to bring along your own snacks for the session - please note, we aim for a nut-free allergy environment.
    • Parents:
      You are welcome to stay and join in with us and our DBS certified staff, “Drop ‘n’ play” on our PC’s and Consoles or feel free to “drop-n-go” and grab a coffee or a bite to eat at Pret A Manger, Café Nero or Benugo.

    • Try EVERYTHING in the centre for 2 hours after the camp
    • Just £10 for per head for extra play 2 hours

    • Develop original characters and bring them to life using pixel art.
    • Build and design game levels using digital tools.
    • Explore storytelling techniques to create immersive game narratives. Understand game mechanics and how to balance challenge and fun.
